In our house, Valentine’s Day is mostly about surprising the kids with a few fun gifts. Not saying I would be opposed to making it a bigger deal for hubby and me, but I don’t think hubs agrees. Regardless of your Valentine celebration style, I’ve got a few ideas for the loved ones in your life. WARNING: Just like with Christmas shopping, shipping is taking longer than normal (even with Prime items) and quantities are limited. So, shop early!
Bodie’s birthday is February 15th, so the kids don’t get anything fancy or expensive on the 14th. Usually a box of chocolates (always a good idea!) and something small. This year they will receive ski goggle covers that I picked up while we were in Steamboat a few weeks ago. We’re heading back to Steamboat in March and will likely squeeze in a day trip to a nearby NC ski resort between now and then. So, they’ll get plenty of use. I found similar goggle socks on Amazon. If you’ve got a skier in your family, this is a great price point for a surcee.
This is the exact Goggle Soc I chose for Emery and Bodie:

These are a few I found on Amazon I thought were cute. REI also has some choices.

This American flag design is also cool. I love that these are made from plastic bottles.

Sadly, not a ton of prints are in stock at the moment. There’s a pineapple design and also a tropical floral pattern that are darling, but they’re currently unavailable. I would get those for myself! My other choice would be this nighttime sky.

If skiing isn’t your thing, this is guaranteed to thrill kids. Even my twelve year old and her friends love this stuff. My mom gave Emery and Bodie each a bucket of Foam Alive with their Christmas gifts and they’re still going strong. Also, I’m happy to report that it really doesn’t make a mess. Linked below picture.

We have at least a dozen blankets, but my kids are always excited for a new one. These heart blankets on Amazon are cute for Emery. Bodie would probably prefer a sporty blanket over hearts.
Valentine’s Blankets

This is also adorable…

For the little gents in your life, these are good options.

Moving along to gifts for adults….jewelry is always a safe bet round these parts (not that Ben really acknowledges Valentine’s Day; he refers to it as a “Hallmark holiday” and says “it’s for amateurs.”) Whatever. If he were to decide to gift me with a little token for Valentine’s Day, I’d like to add to my Allie + Bess stacks.
I love all Allie + Bess creations, but these are truly perfect for Valentine’s Day:

Hot pink and magenta are always my favorite colors, but they’re especially perfect for Valentine’s Day when paired with some red.

Another solid jewelry brand is, of course, Tiffany & Co. It’s easy to spend a boatload of moolah at Tiffany’s, but this is actually a decent price point for a little blue box and it’s just too precious. I’d be thrilled to get this February 14th! Or any other day.

I mean, how cute is that?!?!?! https://www.tiffany.com/jewelry/necklaces-pendants/return-to-tiffany-mini-double-heart-tag-pendant-28751249/
This wouldn’t be a proper Valentine’s Day guide without mentioning flowers. I know a lot of people think spending money on flowers is silly because they only last a few days, but I’m a fan. Not that it happens often (literally can’t even remember the last time hubs sent me flowers, but I digress), but whenever it does, I’m thrilled. That being said, I am NOT a fan of red roses unless it’s Christmas. Pink and green is my jam. Something like this would make my day…think outside the box!

Local friends, this is from Twigs!
Happy shopping!
XOXO,
Ashley
