Travel Tuesday: College Tour (Samford University in Birmingham)

I’m not sure how we got here so fast, but Emery and I officially kicked off her college tours last week. We visited Samford University in Birmingham and, let me tell you, this one will be hard to top. For starters, we stayed at The Grand Bohemian in Mountainbrook, which is fabulous. Everything in Mountainbrook is pretty, charming and boujee. I highly recommend this hotel if you find yourself traveling to the Birmingham area. Samford’s campus is only two miles from the hotel. The next morning we treated ourselves to a Starbucks for some tour fuel and made our way to the beautiful university. She was all decked out for the holidays, which only added to the excitement.

Festive Samford

Samford puts on a great tour and Emery felt very welcomed. An absolutely wonderful morning.

VIP Treatment

Emery is interested in a career in nursing….this is the health sciences building. STUNNING.

Health Sciences

I loved the one on one time with my first born. As much as I wish she could stay home forever, I know she is supposed to leave the nest. Samford would make a lovely “school home” for her.

My Girl

I can’t wait for our next tour! Stay tuned!
