We just wrapped up our yearly summer trip to hubby’s hometown of Grand Haven, MI. A week in this charming Lake Michigan town is always a welcome break from the South Carolina heat, but this best part is spending so much time with family. We did all of the usual activities…fishing at the cottage, boating, skiing, tubing, beach, runs down to the pier, bonfires, games and sunsets. Grand Haven is always beautiful, but she really shines for the Fourth.
A Week on Lake Michigan’s East Coast

Our final sunset was spent at Noto’s. We loved our dinner here. The pasta is made in house and it’s spectacular. Plus, the views are incredible.
Ben and I went to dinner with dear friends, Mom in the Mitten and Mr. Mitten, one evening and failed to get any pictures. We ate at Finn’s in Spring Lake. Highly recommend for a nice adult dinner out. Meeting up with the Mitten fam is always a highlight.
