I’ve recently stitched monograms on a bunch of towels….it’s wedding season! And almost graduation season. Towels make great high school graduation gifts. I love sending pretty new towels off with college freshmen. They are practical, plus they add a little extra to a dorm room or apartment.
All of the towels in the photo below are the Threshold brand from Target. They are a great price point for the quality. I wouldn’t spend a mint on towels for college bound students. The black font is Monogram Wizard Plus “Arabesque.” I truly love this font, but not all letters look great in it. I was so happy to get the opportunity to use it as S’s and C’s are Arabesque friendly. The pink monogram is my go-to for ladies: MWP “Master Circle.” It’s timeless and elegant.

These towels are some I stitched for Emery a few months ago. Girlfriend is seriously destructive and messy, so she can’t have nice towels. These are from Wal Mart and they’re just so-so. You get what you pay for. But seeing as how Emery’s nice Ralph Lauren towels ended up in the rag pile because of a nail polish disaster, she’s using Wally towels for the time being. I feel like a monogram gussied them up a bit.

Short and sweet today, folks! Supposed to play tennis later and Bodie has baseball practice, but the weather is yucky. Fingers crossed the rain goes away and we can keep our fun Tuesday as planned.
