I can safely say that three weeks after Christmas I am still faithfully using and loving these three gifts: Brightland olive oil, Wildling Gua Sha, and Incohearent card game.

I knew Brightland olive oil is delicious and far superior to the usual stuff I buy at Publix because I’d tasted it at a friend’s house (she used it in a simple salad dressing). I was shocked at what a difference good olive oil makes. Yet I never pulled the trigger and purchased it for myself. If I’m being honest, the price is the main reason. However, when I learned about the Mackenzie-Childs special edition bottles, I immediately added it to my Christmas list. Thankfully, Santa delivered.

Of course the bottles are gorgeous, but the flavor of the oils is what is most remarkable. I’ll never go back to inexpensive olive oil. The duo I received is Awake and Alive. I’ve used both multiple times. I love that the bottle comes with suggestions printed on the back so you always know which to use for meats and pasta and which to use for salads and veggies. Funny enough, my friend who introduced me to Brightland is the same friend who convinced me to try Gua Sha. I’ve heard about Gua Sha for years, but never considered it. My mother-in-law asked for Christmas gift ideas for me and I decided to give Gua Sha a go since my stylish and beautiful friend had just been raving about it. She said all the stuff it claims to do is true if used consistently. The benefits of Gua Sha are: improved circulation, lymphatic drainage, reduced puffiness and wrinkle reduction. The Wildling Empress stone and barrier oil is what I chose. I have used this every day since Christmas, including while on vacation, and I crave it now. The process feels amazing and I am happy to report that I had zero puffiness while in Deer Valley, which is incredible given the altitude and dryness. And let’s be real, alcohol. While I haven’t noticed any fine lines disappearing, I am told they will if I continue with my regimen. The Wildling web site has plenty of videos targeting specific goals.
