Just popping in with a quick post Christmas snippet.  We had a very busy Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which included a trip to Atlanta followed by visitors from Atlanta.  I got to see all of my Atlanta cousins and their kids, which was wonderful.  We hadn’t all been together since Nanny’s 90th birthday a year and a half ago…..and the youngest cousin hadn’t even been born then!  I did not take many pictures because I was having too much fun.  Or I was cooking, cleaning, assembling, etc.  Such a whirlwind!  Santa visited super late Christmas Eve because we were driving home from Atlanta, but he sure did a good job.  New ipads and cases, tennis racquets, roller skates, headphones, a football helmet, duck boots, a robot, passes to Big Air and these super cool scratch off travel maps.  A glimpse of the dining room table before we all sat down to eat.Today has been all about organizing and relaxing.  In fact, I’m still in my pajamas, despite a trip to Starbucks and the car wash.  But, I’ve done three loads of laundry and found homes for all of our new loot.  Speaking of new loot, my favorite Christmas gift is definitely the Weather Tech gear I received from my husband and kids.  I got a new car last month and the dog/kid/horseback riding taxiing was taking a toll on my brand new set of wheels.  I told my family that I hoped for these items under the tree and they made it happen.I never thought this sort of thing would make me so happy.  I guess I’m officially old.

Another favorite gift is this jewelry organizer from my parents.  I was so tired of packing a bunch of different little pouches and dealing with tangled necklaces.  This is gorgeous, practical and monogrammed.  What more could I want?  It will be put to use next week when we fly out to Steamboat for a ski trip.  The bag is by Boulevard and my mom ordered it from Swooizes.
