What an amazing Thanksgiving with family! This might be the best one yet…hubs and I went full Griswold style and hosted his entire family plus my parents for Thanksgiving. My parents came up from Atlanta for just one night, but we got to have Ben’s family from Michigan, Texas and Palau for the week. Yes, chaos ensued from time to time, but I wouldn’t change a thing. The dogs are in mourning and don’t know what to do with themselves now that they do not have dozens of extra hands and laps around.

My mom was in charge of the centerpieces and they turned out so cute! To make it easier on myself, I ordered a sweet potato cake from Brick Street Cafe for one of our desserts. This was a big treat for the out of town folks who had not yet experienced that deliciousness. **I also ordered a bunch of quiches from Strossner’s for breakfasts and I looked like a genius. Work smarter, not harder.
Turkey Day consisted of a lot of eating, watching football and playing Rummikub. It was perfect. Ben brined ad smoked the turkey, which was quite tasty. The teenage boys especially loved it.

So incredibly grateful for family.

I somehow do not have a single picture of this, but the surprise hit of the week is this cool orb hover ball thing from Amazon that my mom brought for the kids. However, the adults had just as much fun, if not more, with it. https://amzn.to/3XugDY0. If you need a stocking stuffer or a white elephant gift, this is a winner.

Happy December!
