What a fun way to end this busy week….the Buena Vista Elementary fun run!  I just love this sweet school.  The teachers all dressed as superheroes.  Our principal dressed as a very convincing Batman.  The PTA had a deejay who played lots of fun music, including the Notre Dame fight song!  I seldom hear that down here–such a fun surprise.  My kids went wild!  There’s Bodie in the black “tights” and gray/orange shorts in the second picture.IMG_9981

I stitched a lot of these SPF bags last summer and with spring break approaching I’ve gotten a few requests for more.  Much obliged.  These bags come in the happiest colors and are perfect for so many items, including goggles!  This was also an Etsy request, but I loved it so much I had to create one for me as well.  I am so ready for swim team and long days at the pool.  Also, not too early to be thinking about teacher/coach gifts.  These bags with a few bottles of sunscreen and a lip balm are great little “thank you” presents.

Speaking of summer, my favorite week of the year is Shark Week.  I came across these shark ice pop/yogurt tube koozies and had to snag some.  I had never used the heat press or HTV on neoprene before, so I practiced on koozies for my kids and my niece and nephew.  Piece of cake!  These come in other cute designs and colors and I definitely think I’ll be ordering more.

I blogged about my husband’s track weekend several months ago (October) and mentioned how much we all enjoyed it.  He’s booked more track time at an event in Camden, SC, next weekend and he’ll be joined by a few of his buddies.  The event is hosted by the Porsche Club, so 99% of the drivers are in various Porsche models.  One of hubby’s friends is driving a different kind of car and he’s been getting lots of flack about it.  He asked me to make him a shirt for the festivities and I’m thrilled with the outcome.  It’s fun to mix it up and make something for an adult every now and again.

Lastly, St. Patrick’s Day is just over a week away and I am jonesing for these shamrock Jack Rogers sandals something fierce.  I would wear them a ton during football season!  Alas, they are sold out in my size.  Sad face.  But seriously, how cute are these?

Happy weekend!  Cheers!
