I took a “me” day last week and hiked to the top of Table Rock Mountain.  Table Rock State Park is about a forty-five minute drive from Greenville and is home to some of the best hiking in the area.  I’ve done Pinnacle Mountain twice and now Table Rock.  Both are challenging enough to give me a solid workout, but not so bad that I ever want to stop before the summit.  Including drive time, the hike takes a good chunk of the day, so I don’t get to do this often.  I need to make it more of a priority because I love it.

I brought my favorite Lilly S’well bottle and trusty REI backpack with a few snacks and a first aid kit and thoroughly enjoyed just being alone in the woods for a few hours.  It was delicious.  And much needed ahead of a crazy week.

Hubs and I are heading out west for a quick weekend at his alma mater.  I can’t wait!
