Small Business Saturday: Revived Spaces

Happy Saturday! I recently had the most wonderful experience with a small, local business and I am thrilled to feature this company today. Two friends here in Greenville founded Revived Spaces last year and it’s quickly become a smashing success. Laura and Melanie both have a gift for organizing and making things pretty. I am so happy they teamed up and turned their hobby into something they can share with the rest of us here in Greenville. My kitchen doesn’t have a designated pantry, just lots of cabinets. Having always lived in houses with large pantries, I struggled from day one with how to best arrange my food items in this house. After playing around with various ideas for years, I finally decided to call in the professionals. It’s amazing what a set of fresh eyes can do for a space! Here is a before:

Pantry: Before

Yikes! I can’t believe I just posted that picture on the internet for everyone and their poodle to see.

The good news is that I do cook quite a bit and didn’t have any expired items to purge. I just needed help figuring out where to put everything. Laura and Melanie stopped by one afternoon to take some measurements and ask a few questions. Two days later they got back to me with a quote. They returned a few days later to work their magic! Here are the afters:

Pictures do not do the new space justice! Laura and Melanie brought all new bins and spice jars, plus made the labels right there on the spot. We’re currently in the midst of a basement and family room renovation and my house is in chaos. My pantry cabinets are my little slice of zen each time I open the doors. Meal planning and grocery shopping have never been easier or more FUN!

If you’re local and feeling overwhelmed with an organizing task, call Revived Spaces! I am so happy to see this little business take off. Laura and Melanie are so incredibly deserving and such a joy to have in my home. I can’t wait to have them help me with my “monogramming cave” and a few more kitchen spaces in the coming months. WARNING: their services are addictive.

Have a great weekend!
