As much as I love Amazon and Nordstrom, I can’t help but feel even better about purchases from small businesses. I do a happy dance every time I hear that Shopify alert letting me know someone placed an order with my little shop, so I love helping others hear that “cha ching” sound! #iykyk

Today I want to focus on some of my favorite small businesses. I stumbled across this particular shop on Etsy several years ago not realizing that Mayfly and Junebug Designs has their own web site. My favorite notepad EVER is from Mayfly and Junebug. In addition to being pretty, it’s the perfect size. Stationery isn’t the only product available at Mayfly and Junebug Designs; their tableware (especially for kids) is also darling. Personalized notepads make excellent stocking stuffers and surcees for neighbors and teachers…or any woman who likes to GSD! Shop here: https://mayflyandjunebug.com/

This next shop is extra fun because I know one of the owners very well and was there when she came up with the idea to form her business. I am beyond proud of her! Tina, you’ve worked SO hard and achieved much success because of your drive and determination. You’re goals! If any of you are in need of gorgeous accent pillows, Pillow Talk Design is an excellent resource. Tell Tina Ashley sent you. https://pillowtalkdesign.com/

Local friends, this one is for you! Greenville Cheese Girl makes delicious and beautiful charcuterie boards. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying one of her boards at Book B*tches a while ago and all of the B*tches were impressed. Lauren does not have a web site, but her Instagram bio includes her email address. Not only does she create boards, she also teaches workshops occasionally. I really want to try one! Follow @greenvillecheesegirl on Instagram for ordering information. If you’re not here in Greenville, follow her for inspiration. I have a feeling she’ll be extra busy with the holidays approaching, so order soon.

Another favorite South Carolina shop is Sugar Boutique. Sugar has quickly become my go-to anytime I need something fun and dressy. Side note: “dress” for me refers to anything other than joggers. I’ve been fortunate enough to take several fun trips recently and stocked up on dresses and earrings at Sugar. They’re located in Greenwood, but their online shop is fabulous if you’re not in the area. Also? Free shipping on orders over $50. Sugar has impressive inventory! This next shop is in East Cobb (Marietta, Georgia), not far from where I grew up and where my family still lives. Pineapple Porch Boutique carries a selection of home goods, baby gifts, jewelry and accessories that is unrivaled by any store I’ve ever set foot in. They even carry Brackish items! If you’re in the Atlanta area, or even just passing through, it’s worth the stop. https://pineapple-porch.com/ The employees are so nice and helpful. Shopping here is a pleasure.
