If you haven’t guessed by now, my family is obsessed with our pets. Crazy obsessed. We love our fur babies so much and they love us right back. Bodie and Gipper seem to have an extra special relationship, while Emery gravitates more toward our big gray cat, Hunter. Here’s how you’ll find them after school most afternoons. They need a good snuggle before homework and playing can commence.Hunter looked extra adorable chilling by one of our front porch pumpkins the other day.
Speaking of Halloween decor, the giant spiders are back again! I hung them with mounting tape and they’ve withstood quite a bit of wind and rain without budging.
Sunday was the perfect fall day and Gipp and I took advantage by going on a long walk through the neighborhood. He likes to stop and check out this creek on the golf course.
Bodie’s baseball season wrapped up Monday night and we are so sad it’s over. He had such a special season with a wonderful group of friends and coaches.
Moving right along from Halloween to Christmas, I helped host the Cancer Society of Greenville County’s greenery sale at our club the other night. Christmas music was playing and my Deck the Halls candle from Modern Forestry was burning. It was like a Hallmark movie! One of the cancer society members dressed up a centerpiece with roses and peacocks and I’m smitten.
In addition to the centerpiece, wreaths and topiaries are also for sale. It’s all so pretty! And it supports a great cause.
But back to my pets….Hunter is so squishy!
