Repurposed Oui Yogurt Containers

IMG_6606Back to school! It’s here, ready or not. Personally, I get so jazzed about new school supplies and the organizational potential that comes with the start of a new academic year, I barely notice the early mornings and the 500 forms that must be filled out. Per kid. Helping me out this year are those packaging geniuses at Yoplait. Not only are they making DELICIOUS French yogurts, they are selling them in the cutest glass jars you ever did see. Every flavor is a joy, and each jar can be repurposed.IMG_6604There are plenty of ways to use the jars without lids (pencil jars, succulent planters, catch all containers), but through their website, Yoplait sells plastic lids to fit the jars. This makes them ideal for packing snacks, storing small items, and saving leftover sauces and dressings in your refrigerator. Once you get started, you’ll think of a million ways to use these babies! The lids come in packs of 4 for $3.99 and are available in blue or clear.IMG_6636IMG_6629IMG_6631IMG_6607The jars are attractive as they are, but how cute would these be with a monogram? I think a succulent in a jar with a rose gold monogram is a super cute gift for a new teacher to enjoy on her desk. Or, you can pretty up your kitchen window with some herbs (basil pictured here) and label with with vinyl in a pretty color.IMG_6603
