Ending the hottest week EVER with some fall inspiration, like this leopard print guitar strap I ordered for my most favorite bag.  The bag is by BLVD (Parker tote) and the strap is from Amazon.  I’m obsessed with both.  Treat yo’ self.  IMG_0353Some more fall inspo in the form of baby pumpkins.  Emery and Bodie were given these cuties by a friend and I immediately found homes for them in my kitchen.  If only our weather would match!!!!!  It’s so freaking hot.  I’m honestly unhappy and I normally love being hot.  But this is absurd.  97 degrees today, 94 degrees yesterday.  My pumpkins are mushy and the grass looks like sh1t.  I need some fall.  It’s October, for crying out loud!IMG_0366IMG_0367This has been my afternoon snack several times this week:  a ramekin full of raisinettes and peanuts.  I rationalize that it’s healthy (fruit, protein, antioxidants) and I look forward to this treat something fierce.  It’s usually paired with a few sips of a diet cherry Coke.  #balance #ineedthecaffeine Try it–it’s delicious!  The perfect mix of salty and sweet.IMG_0388I did some monogramming for a friend the other day and when she picked up her items from my front porch, she left this loaf of awesomeness.  Hot, fresh, salty bread from The Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery.  This is definitely my favorite form of currency.  What a fun surprise!IMG_0393I honestly cannot even remember if I’ve mentioned this on the blog, but I’ve teamed up with the Cancer Society of Greenville County to help with their annual fundraiser this year.  The fundraiser is a pop up greenery sale and although I’ve purchased my wreaths from them the past several years, this is my first year actually assisting with the sale.  So far it’s been a lot of fun!  The other ladies on the committee are fabulous and I love working for such a worthwhile cause.  Plus, the greenery is truly gorgeous.  I’m so excited to see everything come to fruition in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, Emery has been helping deliver post cards in the neighborhood.  She is so funny.  IMG_0414IMG_0415IMG_0416Emery attended her fifth grade retreat this past week and, as a bonus, got Friday off from school.  Other than taking a bit of time to help me with the Cancer Society fundraiser, how did she spend her day?  Loving on her fur babies that she missed so much while away.  Em sure does have a soft spot for animals in her heart.  I can’t imagine where she gets that!  Morning pup cup with Gipper and then afternoon snuggles with Hunter.  Life is good.IMG_0421IMG_0427Cheers!  We made it to the weekend!
