I’ll start with possibly the most random of them all: an electric fly swatter set. My in-laws have these and they were so useful while visiting that we ordered our own. I don’t know what the fly situation is like in your neck of the woods, but we have lots and they are especially prevalent when we eat outside. Contributing to our problem is that the doors to our house are open ALL THE TIME with the dogs and kids coming and going nonstop during the summer. Unfortunately, our flies migrate inside. Bodie and Ben like to keep score.

Oddly enough, I have two bug related items on my list. The next are tabletop fly fans. Keep bugs off your food while dining outside without any candles or sprays! A family at our club brings these to the pool when they dine al fresco and they swear by them. I like that they are available in pink!

I’ve had my KitchenAid stand mixer for over twenty years and it’s still going strong. It’s the five quart standard white version and it’s served me very well for the past two decades. But, if I had my druthers I’d get the bigger seven quart and in a FUN color. This is a hard purchase to justify as my five quart works perfectly and I seldom need anything bigger. These mixers are worth every penny, I promise. However, if you’re going to take the plunge, Prime Days might be the time to do it. Also, my birthday is later this month. Hint, hint family!

The stand mixer may not appeal to a college student, but this next item should appeal to coffee drinkers of any age. Another pitcher every college student needs is a Brita water filter. Mine was a lifesaver in college. I’m amazed at how little they’ve changed over the years. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Grab during the sale and send your favorite college students off knowing they’ll have cold, clean water to drink. They’re going to need it.

Likely the most used utensil in my kitchen is my OXO wine opener. I last purchased one three years ago and it just now started acting wonky. I hope they are included in Prime Day sales because I need to repurchase. The included foil cutter is clutch. It’s much easier to use than the old school corkscrew but doesn’t require batteries like the other fancy wine openers. If you don’t already have one of these in your bar area, remedy that situation now.

Surprisingly, I do not own a deviled egg dish. I have no idea how! No need to panic, though, because I found the perfect tray on Amazon. How pretty is this Pampa Bay platter?!?! I can’t decide on a color. Maybe I should get both the gold and silver?
