Notice anything different!?!?! Last weekend I finally pulled the trigger and did something I’ve been mulling over for quite some time: I had my doors painted pink. Previously, my front door was Benjamin Moore “Covington Blue” and the other exterior doors were the same color as the house, which is Sherwin Williams “Pure White.” I was perfectly happy with this color scheme, but I noticed that more and more front doors were popping up in similar colors. My front door needed to be painted (thanks to Gipper scratching on it) and I contemplated painting it the same blue. But then I threw caution to the wind and decided to go for it. I lined up the painters and headed to Ace Hardware to purchase some paint. I chose the same shell pink that is on my dining room ceiling, which is Benjamin Moore “Yours Truly.” After the front doors were painted, I was so smitten that I asked the painter to slap a fresh coat on the personnel door to the garage and the basement door.

The rest of the basement entry is getting a facelift this winter; new columns, new concrete pad and new light fixture.
As I mentioned, I thought about making these changes for some time. However, I worried that the pink would be a bit much. After I lined everything up, the latest issue of Greenville’s TALK magazine appeared in my mailbox. If this isn’t a sign, I don’t know what is. This gorgeous house and cute homeowner gave me the courage to move forward and not chicken out. NO REGRETS! I love my pink doors! They make me so happy every time I pull into the driveway and catch a glimpse of pink peeking out at me.

My friend, Diana, snapped this picture of me the other night after some shopping and dinner with our daughters. Clearly pink is my favorite color!
We’re on week three of e-learning, hence the lack of posts. Thankfully, Bodie is in school two days per week now and Emery is still five days per week. Praying everyone stays healthy!
