Our porch renovation was complete in the early fall, but I only recently purchased plates and glasses that are meant for outdoor use. My friend, Kimberley, hosted last month’s Book B*tches meeting and treated us to a wonderful meal in her beautiful backyard. Her table was so pretty and all of the items were plastic, acrylic or melamine. I left inspired to set my own table!

I struck gold with glasses from Amazon. I love these and would have paid way more for them. Thankfully, I didn’t have to. I went with the clear, but the colored options are great. Shop them here: https://amzn.to/3VzBtVy

I also lucked out with placemats from Amazon. I didn’t want the same rattan placemats I have in my kitchen, but a similar vibe. These fit the bill perfectly. Black works best in my space, but the aqua is ideal for a beach house and the red or blue would really elevate a Fourth of July dinner. Available here: https://amzn.to/3yUyVZi

The napkin rings are also an Amazon find! They’re a great way to add some pizzazz to any outdoor table setting. Get them here: https://amzn.to/3yVkfJv

Napkin Rings

The plates are from Pottery Barn and are exactly what I envisioned for my table. I lucked out and snagged them on sale. We’ve used numerous times and they are fabulous. They’re still on sale! If you need to upgrade your melamine plate game, look no further.

My in laws are coming into town next week and I can’t wait to host dinners al fresco with my new tablescape. I hope you’re having a fabulous Monday.
