Most of the gifts on this list are things I would love for Christmas, but a few are things I already own and love that I think make excellent surprises for the ladies in your life.

A Birkin bag is unattainable for most of us. And even if it weren’t unattainable, I can think of other things I would rather do with that kind of money. That being said, they are beautiful bags with a timeless look. I saw this Tory Burch Lee Radziwill tote on Instagram almost a year ago (@things.i.bought.and.liked) described as a “The working woman’s Birkin bag” and I was smitten. The price tag is still a splurge at $1200-$1300, but it’s way more affordable and accessible than a Birkin. AND IT’S STUNNING! This Lee Radziwill tote (love the name) comes in several neutral colorways to compliment any outfit. The size is perfection: large enough to serve as a work bag, but not so bulky that it’s cumbersome. Basically, it’s incredible. Shop here: https://www.toryburch.com/en-us/handbags/satchels/lee-radziwill-double-bag/59533.html?color=001 I’m partial to the black or tiger’s eye.

Speaking of things that look expensive, this Roxanne Assoulin pendant is phenomenal. I have several RA pieces and they are such fun statement pieces that don’t break the bank. I love how this Eclectic necklace works well on its own or layered. The only problem is that I want this NOW so I can enjoy it during all of the upcoming holiday parties. I don’t want to wait until Christmas morning. Story of my life! Treat yourself to an early gift here: https://roxanneassoulin.com/products/the-eclectic-pendant I’m particularly fond of the juxtaposition of the edgy Eclectic paired with the traditional pearls. And also the tennis necklace. The whole stack is perfection. Imagine that coupled with the TB Lee Radziwill tote! Yes, please.

I have had the best time playing on a tennis team again this fall. I’m hooked. I need to update my gear. This green Oliver Thomas tote is gorgeous! Quite a few of my tennis teammates have the Oliver Thomas tennis backpack, which is adorable, but I think I am leaning towards the tote. However, I’ll take either. Every year, without fail, I ask for new Ugg slippers. I always come back to this same style. Tried and true, they are the best. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t want these under the tree. I’m torn between my usual chestnut color or switching it up and going with the dusty orchid. Check them out here: https://amzn.to/3YCyyLZ

I already own this Our Place pot and I want another. It is just as amazing as the Our Place pans that went viral several years ago. Super easy to clean, lightweight and pretty. The built in strainer on the lid is a game changer! Add this to your list immediately. Even if you rarely cook, you’ll want this when you do. Shop them here: https://fromourplace.com/products/perfect-pot and enjoy early Black Friday prices. It’s also available on Amazon, but the sale price hasn’t gone into effect yet. Fingers crossed! I reckon I need the Hot Grips, too. These are a cute stocking stuffer. https://amzn.to/4hAcXwv. According to reviews, they work with non-Our Place products, too.

I wrote an entire blog post dedicated to my Kindle Paperwhite, which you can read here: https://emerybodie.com/mothers-day-gift-or-grad/. If you are a reader or are shopping for a reader, this is a must buy. The convenience is life changing. I love that I can read without having to turn on any lights. The Paperwhite technology does not cause eye strain. Books download instantly and this newest version is waterproof. It’s the best. A feature I did not know I needed is the ability to change font size. I guess I’d better ask Santa for some readers. BONUS: It’s now available in a beautiful pink shade. Happy reading here: https://amzn.to/3YHWSw2

My Oura ring is an incredibly useful tool. I’ve had mine for several months and love the insight it provides. The Gen 4 is now available and it’s apparently sleeker than the 3 I own, which would be nice. My sister guested on my blog last winter and wrote all about her Oura ring, which you can read here: https://emerybodie.com/oura-ring/. I’m not about to upgrade as mine is fabulous, but if you’re a first time buyer, get the 4. I love the gold, but the silver is a better price point. Get the sizing kit. Emery actually has this amber oil and I’m obsessed. I steal it from her all the time. Amber is one of my favorite scents and this oil captures it perfectly. It has great staying power. Every time I wear it I receive compliments. I need a roller of my own. Or several. I’d love to keep one in my travel bag, one in my purse, etc. It’s compact and easy to apply. You won’t believe the price. https://amzn.to/4hI2zD2

PJ Salvage pajamas are superb. Super soft and cozy, plus they wash well. And by that I mean that the collars stay folded without having to be ironed. Because I’m definitely not ironing pajamas. I hardly iron regular clothes. It’s been a few years since I received a new set of PJ Salvage jammies and this ski print made me realize that I need to address that situation. I like all of the prints, but the Ski You Later is definitely my favorite. Purchase here: https://www.pjsalvage.com/products/rpflpj-navy

Is it just me, or do you have loads of half used composition books all over your house? Bodie needs a bunch every school year, but rarely uses more than half of each notebook. I hate tossing them. A Consuela notebook cover allows me to use up the composition books while keeping my desk aesthetic pretty. I love all Consuela prints and was thrilled to discover these notebook covers. Which one should I get? I’m torn between Mille and Mandie. See them here: https://consuelastyle.com/products/mandy-notebook-cover and here: https://consuelastyle.com/products/millie-notebook-cover. Ruby is also catching my eye.

Lastly, I always ask for a book for Christmas. I use my Kindle for almost all of my reading, but every now and again an actual hardcover book is nice. This one checks all of the boxes for me.

Early morning, August 1975: a camp counselor discovers an empty bunk. Its occupant, Barbara Van Laar, has gone missing. Barbara isn’t just any thirteen-year-old: she’s the daughter of the family that owns the summer camp and employs most of the region’s residents. And this isn’t the first time a Van Laar child has disappeared. Barbara’s older brother similarly vanished fourteen years ago, never to be found.

As a panicked search begins, a thrilling drama unfolds. Chasing down the layered secrets of the Van Laar family and the blue-collar community working in its shadow, Moore’s multi-threaded story invites readers into a rich and gripping dynasty of secrets and second chances. It is Liz Moore’s most ambitious and wide-reaching novel yet.
