I know it seems like we just finished putting away the Christmas trees, but today marks one month until Valentine’s Day. I say this every year, but we do not have a big celebration on February 14th at Chez Slagel. Bodie’s birthday is the 15th and that tends to overshadow cupid. When we were in Deer Valley a few weeks ago I noticed several ladies wearing suede mittens. Not only do they look cool, but the large cuff is perfect for easily going over your jacket sleeve. I rode the chairlift with a lovely lady donning a pair and I asked for the brand. They’re made by Astis, which is a new to me label.
