I had so much fun cultivating Easter basket goodies and spring break essentials for y’all that I decided to share my ultimate Mother’s Day wish list. Some of these items are practical, some are NOT. But a girl can dream, right? Mother’s Day isn’t until May 9th, but since some of my gifts will take some time to acquire, I figure I’ll share now.
I’ll start with the practical items. These are things that I should simply just go ahead and purchase for myself, but I’ll include them on this list just in case hubs shoots down my other wish list items. And something tells me he will.
First up, we are in desperate need of new salt and pepper grinders. We have a set from Williams Sonoma that was part of our wedding registry, which basically makes them antiques. The salt grinder no longer grinds. Our salt just falls out in enormous rocks. I’ve decided to go with an electric set for our new grinders in an attempt to keep them cleaner. Having to use two hands to grind the spices results in grimy (and probably unsanitary) objects. I have my eye on this set:
The reviews are plentiful and great, plus shipping is free thanks to Amazon Prime. Linked here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WZSW8VB/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B07WZSW8VB&linkCode=as2&tag=emerybodie-20&linkId=8a742dfbd89c46876a654d4e22786af0
My next practical wish list item is the WeatherTech cup phone holder. I like the idea of my phone being secure while I’m charging it in the car or using it for navigation purposes. Normally my phone is rattling around in the cup holder. This would be much better! Other companies make a product similar to this, but I am a die hard WeatherTech fan. Their seat covers, floor mats and cargo mats have kept my car looking like new despite our use and abuse.
I wouldn’t mind the WeatherTech Deskfone stand, either. I think this would be super handy for the kitchen since most of my recipes are on my phone. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081S7CB96/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B081S7CB96&linkCode=as2&tag=emerybodie-20&linkId=0c1f691cf1cb2450da4e7ae86d916bc3
Moving on to less practical, but not outrageous, gift ideas for me….
It’s been a minute since I’ve treated myself to some new Lilly and this dress speaks to me! I adore the colors and print, plus it looks so cool and comfortable. Perfect for summer.

You know what would go perfectly with the Lilly Pulitzer Gabriel dress? Some Allie + Bess bracelets! I have several Allie + Bess bracelets that I purchased back in the fall and I wear them all the time. They are easy to wear and the colors are gorgeous. They make amazing stacks. I think I need to add these to my collection as I do not yet have any of the Zo style.

Now I’m getting to the REALLY good stuff. Stuff that will never be mine unless I win the lottery! But it’s fun to pretend.
For years I’ve begged hubs to help me get a pink Ford Bronco. Not a new Ford Bronco; a late 60’s or early 70’s Coyote Bronco in a wonderful shade of pink. This would work:
Although no pink options available, Vintage Broncos in Atlanta is definitely where I will head as soon as I purchase my winning lottery ticket. https://vintagebroncos.co/about-us/
My other pipe dream wish list item is a beach house on 30A. A friend recently told me about this new development right near The Hub and I’ve decided on this particular house/floor plan. It’s called The Delaney. Isn’t she gorgeous? I’ll link below just in case any of you have a few million burning a hole in your pocket.

This is a pretty random collection, I realize, but I hope it helps! I also really hope that hubs reads this post.
