Mackenzie-Childs almost always makes her way onto my Mother’s Day wish list. Her new spring vases are a superb mix of her signature black and white, but with bright citrus accents. Another frequent flier on my gift guides is jewelry. Tiffany & Co. created the perfect bracelet when designing the Lock bangle. I know everyone wants the Cartier Love bracelet, but I think the Tiffany Lock style is more versatile with its mixed metals. I love the oval shape. This is the kind of jewelry you can put on and never take off. It’s low profile, comfortable, and matches everything. The narrow model is what I would choose. You had me at “beach Birkin.” Regency Revival (I love her taste) shared these terry cloth bags a few weeks ago on her Instagram stories and it was love at first sight. The nickname “beach Birkin” lead me to believe that the price tag is hefty, but it’s actually not terrible. The small version, which is plenty big, is less than $200. Speaking of all things beachy, these hats caught my eye several months ago when The Fancy Ashley shared this company on Instagram during a Cabo trip. What can I say? Continuing with the cute sun protection items, I need several of these Stio pullovers to get me through the summer. We have several trips planned that involve lots of time on the water and these sun shirts are much easier to deal with than sunscreen. You know we are a Stio family. I love their winter gear and can’t wait to try some UPF cooling items. I think Rapids and Rustic Rose are beautiful colors, although Morning Frost is probably going to match my bottoms the best. None of my current rash guards have a hood and I definitely need the extra coverage. Switching gears…the most precious person on the internet is Babs. If you do not follow Babs on Instagram, you’re missing out (@brunchwithbabs). Original art is the perfect gift for any occasion, in my opinion: anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, travel souvenirs, etc. Last year I embarked on a journey to finally fill my back staircase with original works of art. I bought several pieces at The Art Room’s spring event and they bring me immense joy every time I look at them. For my next piece, I’d love to add a Joseph Bradley painting.
