Several of my recent orders have been from neighborhood peeps, so Emery has been earning some fun money by being my delivery girl. How cute!?!?! Also, try as I might, I just cannot get back on track with posting on the correct days. This summer, while fun, has been chaotic.

I discovered Modern Forestry candles at a local shop several months ago and was instantly smitten with their scents and approach to candle making. These candles are attractive, smell amazing, and are safe to burn thanks to soy wax and natural wicks. The young couple behind this wonderful brand is a dream to work with and walked me through placing my first ever wholesale order. I’ve been brainstorming for months on products I can add to the EmeryBodie LLC arsenal as little add on gifts. I knew for certain I wanted candles and I’m still exploring the possibility of a jewelry line. I am a sucker for fall and Christmas candles, so I immediately pounced on those for my first shipment. Even though it’s July, I have to admit that I’ve been burning “Deck the Halls” while watching Hallmark’s Christmas in July lineup. 
For fall scents, I ordered Pumpkin Streusel and Appalachian Maple Bourbon. Both are divine, but I think the Pumpkin Streusel may just be the best smelling candle on the planet. The Maple Bourbon is also delightful and would make the cutest stocking stuffer for the bourbon loving men in my life. Pumpkin Streusel will be burning in my house 24/7 beginning Labor Day and going strong through Thanksgiving. It’s incredible. 
Deck the Halls is like a Christmas tree in a jar. The scent is exactly like fresh greenery and I have thoroughly enjoyed burning this every evening while indulging my Hallmark habit. 
These candles are available now for $18 (plus tax) and would make the best hostess gift, teacher gift or housewarming gift. They also add some extra oomph to any gift. My mom and my sister were over the moon when I brought some samples down to Atlanta last week. Our family loves a good candle!
