Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. We actually spent our weekend at the coast for a last minute family vacation. Kiawah Island, you are heavenly. More on that tomorrow in Travel Tuesday.
Today is all about monograms, especially those pertaining to dorm life. Many students are moving into their dorms or apartments this week (hopefully! Stay safe!), so I’ve rounded up a list of items I’ve monogrammed over the summer that will be joining students as they venture away from home. First up, let’s talk cosmetic bags and Dopp kits. I don’t know about you, but I had to share a bathroom with lots of women all four years of college. A fun bag to corral all of your beauty products is a must. I love Mudpie for ladies’ bags and REI for the gents. The Mudpie bags are super colorful and the storage space is a gracious plenty. Plus, they have a little side handle for easy carrying and the CUTEST pom pom on the zipper.

REI Dopp kits are roomy enough for the basics and come with an adjustable strap for hanging and carrying. Most importantly, they are super durable. These won’t take up a ton of space in shared bathroom areas and are great for tossing in a bag when a weekend at home is in order.

Next up, catchalls and trays. A designated spot on a desk or nightstand for keys, phones, Air pods, etc., is necessary, so you may as well make it cute! I love both of these options for college students.

Moving on to laundry….again, most college kids will be washing their clothes in community laundry areas, so a monogrammed laundry bag is a must. If you’ve got to do something, may as well make it cute! Laundry bags make great group gifts because they’re inexpensive and functional. I love the aqua color thread this customer chose.

Last, but certainly not least, I present to you a first aid kit. This little zipper bag stocked with pain relievers, allergy meds, band aids, first aid ointment, upset tummy remedies and a flashlight will come in handy. This is actually the same kit I bring with me on every vacation and adventure. It’s not just good for college students!

Whatever your school situation is this semester, I hope it’s off to a great start! We’re still in limbo here in Greenville and the not knowing is starting to wear on me. I like having a plan! I truly feel for the educators and administrators having to make all of these decisions.
Have a great week!
