It’s almost 11:00 PM Monday evening, but I’m getting my Monogram Monday post up just in the nick of time!  But first:

I just don’t know that it’s ever going to be fall down here.  Bodie played another hot and muggy baseball game tonight, but this game was extra fun because the Orioles played against the team of one of Bodie’s oldest friends.  It was Astros vs. Orioles in a very orange game.

Speaking of hot and muggy sporting events, here’s Emery on her favorite pony, Calico:

A friend picked up these adorable polka dot towels at Ikea recently and asked me to personalize them for her kids.  I am such a sucker for the playful look of polka dots, especially in these happy colors.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered that my all time favorite zipper bags now come in camouflage.  I grabbed a few and immediately used one for a little birthday bag for one of Bodie’s friends.  As cute as these are for boys, I’m desperate to stitch a hot pink name on one these babies.

Once again, I cranked out a few Christmas pajamas this week.

I’ve been a fan of Spartina bags and accessories for several years, but I just now discovered they make wine totes.  Hello, lover!  Also, how good is that kelly green monogram on the black and white graphic bag?  I am obsessed with that color combo.

Blast from the past!  My kids’ school held their monthly skating event last Friday and the theme was “blackout day.”  We donned our black and had so much fun skating.  No major wipeouts–yay!  I swear, this was like going back in time.  My elementary school in Atlanta had monthly skating parties as well….thirty years ago.  The rink was identical to this one and the format hasn’t changed a bit.

Hunter, our former stray, will only drink from the faucet.  He’s a riot.  I can’t help but think this is some primal cat instinct thing….or he’s just super high maintenance???
