Gipper got hold of Emery’s and Bodie’s travel toothbrush cases after our last trip (this is what happens when you don’t put your crap away, kids!) and when looking to replace them I knew I wanted something that isn’t plastic. We’ve been using bamboo toothbrushes for a few months now and I was thrilled to discover that bamboo toothbrush cases are a thing…on Amazon! Woohoo! While “adding to cart” I also realized that our transition to bar soaps from liquids/gels created the need for travel soap cases. Again, I knew I didn’t want plastic. Voila! These little metal hinged tins are perfect for travel size soaps. I purchased the bamboo case for my shampoo and conditioner bars back when I bought the bars. Once again, they’re from Amazon. Add some toothpaste tablets in a glass jar and you are good to go! Planet friendly travel! Even better, I LOVE all of these products. I had so much fun personalizing the tins and cases for Emery, Bodie and me. I posted a picture on Instagram and an acquaintance immediately asked if I could make some for her daughters. Of course!I love putting together gifts for teachers as they are truly invaluable and deserve all the accolades. This order is for a teacher’s birthday. Her favorite color is green.
I was asked to put a wedding hashtag on a Corkcicle for a bride-to-be, which got me to thinking about what the hashtag for my wedding could have been had hashtags been a thing thirteen years ago. I can’t come up with anything. Good thing I got married in 2007!
A super special order last week was for Shriner’s Hospital’s scrubs. What a special facility!
I love this time of year when post season baseball (featuring my Braves, of course) coincides with football season. It’s glorious to always have either a baseball, NCAA or NFL game to watch. Bodie is playing Little League and flag football this fall, so if we’re not watching sports on television, we’re probably watching it live at one of his games. An order for a baseball themed snack led to these darling popsicle koozies.
In other news, EmeryBodie has a new shop dog! Be careful when picking up your orders!
We survived Monday!
