I’m still getting used to this new blog format, so I apologize if things seem random or choppy. Below are some of the projects I’ve completed this week. First up, so bloomers and baby gowns. The gowns are for twin boys and are made by Magnolia baby. They are the softest baby layette pieces I’ve ever felt.

These bags are for a friend to give to her neighbors this holiday season. I love how she chose colors and fonts to represent each recipient.

What a fun backpack for a Super Mario Brothers loving dude!

Still cranking out dog stockings. Per the owner, this one will be filled with coal if Lucy doesn’t start pooping outside during the rain.

Pink. Yeti. Leopard. Need I say more? What little kid wouldn’t love to find this in her stocking?!?!

Not a super common request, but not my first, either. Apparently fencers use two different types of chargers for their equipment and they can easily be misplaced or mistaken for other’s during tournaments. Problem solved with my all time favorite organizational zipper bags.

Speaking of organizational bags…..these Tumi bags are from long distance Delta flights. My in laws acquired quite a few this summer and asked me to put their monograms on a few of them. How fun! I still have a few left from our trip to Europe back in July. I may need to copy this idea for myself.

I asked one of Emery’s friends if she would be my consultant and help me choose a few items to order for stocking stuffers for EmeryBodie. She took her job very seriously and gave great feedback. Be on the lookout for Abby’s selections!

I posted on Instagram and Facebook that I have a few Modern Forestry candles still in stock for any local peeps needing Thanksgiving hostess gifts. I had quite a few takers and I’m so excited for my next shipment of Modern Forestry candles to arrive next week: think coffee, vanilla and all things Christmas. Meanwhile, I’ve been burning my Deck the Halls candle for over a week. I’m obsessed.

A sweet little baby boy will be celebrating his first holiday season with at least one festive train outfit! This order was initially a request for a Christmas onesie for a little man, but this Garanimals ensemble at Wal Mart was too good to pass up. How cute are the red pants?

I am officially old. Although I still don’t wear glasses or contacts, I have noticed lately when working at night that I just can’t see the stitches as well as I used to when trimming applique fabrics. I finally caved and stole the desk lamp from Emery’s room and what a difference it’s made! I can see!

I’ll sign off with that depressing forty year old revelation….here’s to a great short week!
