Hello!  After the chaos of last week, I’m ready to tackle this calmer week.  We’ve got a birthday party tonight, school spirit night Tuesday and baseball Wednesday, but with spring break looming the following week I can handle whatever this week throws my way.  Our weekend was pretty chill.  The weather was cloudy and cool, so I just holed up in my monogramming cave and got to work.

I think these soccer tumblers turned out so cute!  White Ozarks are perfect for soccer ball decals.  And volleyball…and baseball….golf….

I also cut this 5″ car decal for a customer.

Our wild Saturday night consisted of watching Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards.  My kids were in heaven because John Cena hosted the show and Jojo Siwa performed.  Bodie is OBSESSED with John Cena and Emery has been in a Jojo phase for over a year.  The show was a lot of fun.  I enjoyed watching it with them.  It’s fun to see their excitement and remember how I used to get that worked up over Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, etc.  Emery hasn’t mentioned any boy band interest yet, but I have a feeling she’ll be boy crazy soon enough.  I think fourth grade was when my NKOTB fever spiked.

Here’s Bodie impersonating John Cena jumping off the ropes.  He did this for hours.

Emery had some friends over Sunday afternoon and they made dog treats for Gipper and his buddies.  This was MESSY, but the girls had fun and the dogs enjoyed the treats.

Aren’t they cute?!  Here’s the recipe from www.midwestliving.com:

2/3 cup canned pumpkin

2 eggs

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup crumbled bacon or bacon bits

2 and 1/2 cups flour

In a large bowl, beat the pumpkin, eggs and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.  Beat in bacon.  Add flour as much flour as you can with the mixer.  Stir in the rest by hand until dough no longer sticky.

On a floured surface, roll dough until it’s 1/4″ thick.  Cut into shapes using 1.5″ to 2″ cookie cutter.  Place 1″ apart on ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, until crisp and lightly golden.  Cool on wire racks.  Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
