So.many.water bottles. School starts tomorrow here in SC and everybody is dropping off all of their brand spankin’ new gear. It’s all good, though! I love adding names and decals to all of these colorful, fun water bottles. And I like the idea that the kids are less likely to lose them forever if their name is on them. #wishfulthinking Of course a few clipboards and pencil cases made their way to my monogramming cave along with all of the water bottles. I particularly loved working on Luke’s sporty complilation. I apologize for the bad lighting in the top picture. It was taken at night with my phone. I ran out of daylight!A few teacher gift requests also trickled my way. The “tickled pink” theme is always a fun idea. Then again, so is Lilly Pulitzer vinyl.
I am over the moon happy to share with you that EmeryBodie is now selling these gorgeous oyster shells from Hops & Bun Co. I discovered this gorgeous line on Instagram several weeks ago and was captivated by Farrell’s beautiful feed. Her products and photos are all swoon worthy, and I am thrilled to be carrying her oyster shells. All of the prints are stunning, but these are the three I’ve decided to sell at this time. Multi, navy dot and green palm. I’m happy to report that I’ve already had someone place an order!
One of my goals for this year, in addition to getting my e-commerce site up and running, is to add several items to the EmeryBodie lineup that do not involve monograms or personalizing. I want my customers to be able to add cute little happies to their merchandise on a whim. No planning necessary. I knew I wanted candles (yay for my Modern Forestry inventory!) and a line of fun jewelry (still working on that) and something special in home decor. I’d say these designer oyster shells certainly fit the bill. I am able to sell them for just $18 each, which is significantly less than I paid for my pink pineapple in Palmetto Bluff back in April. Please shoot me a message or leave a comment if you’re interested. And mark my word: my online purchasing abilities are about to get legit!
I’ve got to finish up a few more back to school orders before Tuesday morning, so that’s all for now. Have a great week!
