I’ve been a busy bee these past few days because I’m about to take the next five days off. The kids and I, along with some other moms and friends, are embarking on a Bahamas Disney Cruise Monday morning. What a way to end summer break, right!?!?! So, this installment of Monogram Monday is coming to you a few hours early.
The biggest news of the week is that I finally had to purchase a new vinyl cutting machine. I stuck with the Silhouette Cameo (this time I got the 3) and I am pleasantly surprised by how much these machines have improved since I got my first generation Cameo several years ago. I’ve had lots of fun with it. Isn’t she beautiful? I got the sparkly aqua color. Like last year, I had some fun with the “tickled pink” theme for the first day of school. Emery is entering middle school and will have many different teachers throughout the day, so I didn’t do anything for her teachers. This is for Bodie’s teacher.
As for embroidery, lots of towels and birthday gifts this week. And a giant comforter that was quite challenging and if I never have to do one of these again I’m just fine with that.
The monogrammed saddle pad goes with the Contigo water bottle. What a fun gift for a little equestrian.
That’s all for now! Gotta get some shuteye before our big adventure tomorrow.
