Good morning! This is going to be a long and random post because I never seem to find time to blog at the end of the week. I really need to get better about that.
First up: monograms! It’s definitely getting to be spring because the monogrammed cup requests are rolling in. I love this copper colored Corkcicle embellished with my favorite font, Miss Elizabeth.
My neighbor purchased one of my favorite Bubba cups at Wally and asked me to cut a Lilly decal to match. Happy to!
Another tell tale time of spring…..more baseball bags! And a soccer bag as well. The font on Will’s bag is Monogram Wizard Plus “pharmacy” and Riley’s is MWP “penpal.” I love them both. I can’t wait to use them more in the next few days. I’ve got a few orders piling up.
Bodie received his jersey Saturday morning and he chose #10. Be still my heart. My favorite boy wearing the same number as my all time favorite baseball player??? I can’t even. Seriously, I almost cried.
Speaking of Bodie, he is obsessed with Lamborghinis lately. He has quite a few little die cast Lambos that he carries around with him and he’s frequently asking me to pull up “lambo videos” on YouTube for him to watch. I think Bodie has only ever seen a Lamborghini in person once in his life. Friday afternoon the hubs played a round of golf at the country club and this gorgeous vehicle was in the parking lot. Dealer tags. Brand spankin’ new. He immediately called and said I needed to bring Bodie to the parking lot after school, which is exactly what we did. The car is that cool matte gray color with orange calipers…..even I was speechless. Don’t worry, I didn’t let him touch the car, but I did agree to take his picture with it.
In other monogram news, I did a few items for a baby boy whose daddy is a big fan of motorcycles. This was a fun order, although weeding the vinyl in those bike wheels took a while. But it was worth it.
I did not watch any of the Oscars last night. I haven’t seen a single nominated film. However, I did watch some of the red carpet beforehand and was so happy to see lots of color! I understand why all of the actors wore black to the Golden Globes, but it didn’t make for a very exciting Fashion Police episode. Hands down, my favorite of the night was Kelly Ripa and her husband. That dress is all of my favorite colors and Mark’s suit complemented it perfectly. Plus, he is some yummy eye candy all by himself. They looked stunning.
Enjoy your day!
