Massive Monogram Monday on a Wednesday Night

I’m still catching up from my summer hiatus, so here’s a major round up of some of the work I did while the kids were out of school.  Many of these items pertain to school, but since we have a few days of summer remaining, I’ll start with that.  First up, my favorite organizational zipper bags.  These are perfect for sunscreen, goggles and small pool toys (dive sticks come to mind), but they also serve double duty in diaper bags.  Store first aid supplies, baby toys, wipes, etc., in your diaper bag in these bags and never have to dig around for loose items.

Next, we have some pint sized swim suits and some “jawsome” stainless steel cups.  I believe all of the items were purchased at Wal Mart.  Gotta love that!  Adding a monogram/personalization to something really takes it up a notch.

I feel like my area must have experienced a baby boom over the summer, because I did LOTS of baby items.  I actually googled “most common birthday,” and my two minute research concluded that early September is the most birthday-filled time in the United States.  This explains why I had so many baby shower orders come my way.  No complaints here!  I love stitching sweet little baby gifts.

IMG_2836IMG_2838IMG_2840IMG_3110The font used on the pink/white seersucker bib and burp cloth is Monogram Wizard Plus “arabesque.”  This font is a bit tricky in that not all of the letters of the alphabet look good in this style, but when a monogram has the right combo of initials, it is AMAZING.  I love that it’s kind of a fresh take on my old standby, the always classic “master circle.”  The pink font on the baby gown is “Paris,” and it’s also a gorgeous, yet classically traditional, font that is perfect for both boys and girls.  The blue/green bib set is “master circle” and the blanket is “natural circle,” both from Monogram Wizard Plus.  These are probably the three letter monogram fonts I use most.  The precious bunny ear is stitched using “fun house” font by MWP.  It’s a great kid font that’s gender neutral.

Moving on to the random portion of this post….

These pillowcases made my day.  I think this is hilarious.  In addition to two standard monogram requests, this customer asked for “Lord” and “Lady” to be stitched on extra pillows.  The possibilities with this are endless.

And now for all of the back to school items, or at least the stuff I remembered to photograph:  backpacks, water bottles, rulers (from Staples, aren’t they cute?), Lunch Bots (Amazon Prime–they’re wonderful!) and even a new planner for mama.  I found this at Wally World and just had to embellish with a little shamrock monogram.

Lastly, I stitched out some logos for a nearby charter school.  My children will be required to wear uniforms when they get to middle school and I cannot wait.  This seems like so much less hassle.
