Oh how I love this weather!  I know these abnormally warm temperatures are not here to stay, but this past week has been such a glorious tease of what is coming soon.  We’ve been outside non-stop and I’ve been having too much fun to take many pictures.  The cherry on the top?  Baseball started!  I adore baseball, particularly when my little Peach is playing.  Gipper enjoyed batting practice yesterday.  Go, Bodie!

Speaking of Gipper, he was sufficiently worn out this morning from all of his outdoor activities lately.  He makes me laugh every day.  The Gipper just wanted to snooze…he was seriously annoyed by my picture taking.  But seriously, who can resist a warm, snuggly puppy?  With his teddy bear.

The weather has me wanting to add fun spring decor around the house.  Admittedly, my house is almost always springy in color, but I always add even more color when the temps rise and the sun shines.  I totally stole the phone idea from an Instagram photo I saw the other day (@paigeminear).  I had to attempt to recreate it right away, and, thanks to Amazon Prime, was able to get a “vintage” phone in two days.  Emery is obsessed with this.  We don’t have a landline, so the cord is such a novelty for her.  If she only knew!  I need some more books for the coffee table and I’m thinking I’l try to dude it up a bit for my poor husband.  He’s constantly surrounded by pink and Lilly.  He’s such a good sport about it that sometimes I feel like I should throw him a bone.  I’m on the hunt for some big skiing, golf and Porsche books.  That pretty much sums him up.

Can’t get much more springy than candy colored Easter bunnies!  These were another Instagram find…..man, does Instagram cause me to spend some money.  I saw these in the feed of @shopmadison214 and just had to have.  I called them (they’re in Dallas), but they were sold out.  However, the super nice sales associate told me that Baker Tatum (@bakertatum) in San Antonio might have a few left.  So, I called Baker Tatum and got my bunnies!  The ladies at Baker Tatum were so helpful and accommodating.  I wish they were local.  Then again, that might be disastrous for my wallet.

I know it’s a bit early for Easter decorations, but these guys are just too cute.  I want to enjoy them for as long as possible.  And my Mayme Baker painting is the perfect backdrop for their gorgeous flocked colors.  My wallpaper is also flocked.  #whattheflock

My bathroom also recently received a bit of a refresh.  I fell in love with this Ikea pendant (it’s huge!) when I saw it in the laundry room of www.hisugarplum.  Our new laundry room design won’t allow for this type of light, but I was determined to get it someplace in my house.  I realized my bathroom could stand to have a bit more pizzazz, so that’s where the giant dandelion went.  I also ordered this fun llama print from www.minted.com to hang in the water closet.  This falls under the category of throwing my husband a bone.  Long story, but his golf buddies call him “show llama,” so this llama is a nod to that.

That’s all, folks!  I’ll pop in tomorrow with Monogram Monday!
