I love Amazon Prime Days not only because I stock up on things we use, but also because I take advantage of the amazing deals to start Christmas shopping! Nothing makes me happier than the holidays and my number one key to success is shop and wrap early. I also use Prime Days to get a lot of school supplies for Emery and Bodie. And I might throw in a few treats for myself as well.

I broke down my shopping list into three main categories: tech, fashion/beauty, and house/dorm. Much like my Christmas gift guides, I’m going to create separate posts for each category, so check back every day this week for new items.

Amazingly, I still have the very first Alexa ever made. She works for timers and music, which meets my needs just fine. However, were I to splurge on a new Alexa, I would get the latest Echo Show 10. Emery actually has this version and she uses it all the time. Side note: why do my kids always have the latest version of things while I have dinosaurs? But I digress. The screen is crisp and clear, the sound is great, and it looks nice sitting on her vanity. An Echo Show is an asset in any room: kitchen, bathroom, dorm, bedroom, porch, etc. Stock up now to enjoy the rest of summer or keep for holiday gifting. This next item is a perfect stocking stuffer for literally anyone. And pets. I’m talking about Apple air tags, of course. Even if you’re not the type of person who frequently misplaces things, you will definitely want these in your checked baggage next time you fly. You may not want to wait until the holidays to gift these! They’re great for school, work and sports bags.

Emery wears her Apple watch all the time. She loves tracking her activity and always being reachable. Not sure I would like that, hence why I don’t have an Apple watch, but plenty of people love them. I think I will likely snag one for Bodie if the sale is good. He is terrible about taking his phone with him, but maybe a watch will be easier for him since it’s not something he has to carry. Emery’s is GPS + cellular model, which is what we would get Bodie, too.

Emery and Bodie received Airpod Pros for Christmas (which I bought last year during Prime Day) and they are still going strong. The kids love them and have managed not to lose any, shockingly. I still have my first generation pair of original Airpods, but might upgrade for the noise cancelling capabilities of these. If you’re in need of a pair, now is the time to buy!

This next item was a gift from my MIL several years ago and it is a lot of fun. I guarantee your family will love an outdoor movie projector. We have watched everything from Outer Banks to football games to Jaws on this thing. The picture quality is crisp and it’s easy to use. Our backyard is currently a mud pit due to our porch renovation, but I am counting down the days until we can set our projector up again. This is the exact make and model we own. It’s a splurge, but it makes for unforgettable gatherings. FYI: Shark Week begins July 11th. Here’s hoping this goes on sale early! At the very least, you’ll have it for the grand finale July 18th if you order during Prime Days.

The final item on my tech list isn’t anything glamorous, but it’s definitely necessary: flash drives. I use these all the time for embroidery and photos. Ben also needs them for work. This is a great deal and I love that the flash drives are different colors. Stock up before school.

I recently shared this next item in my Disneyland Recap. It was totally necessary at Disney since everything is done on your phone and charging stations do not exist, but I can imagine many scenarios where this would come in handy: concerts, football games, a full day of classes, a day at the beach or lake, etc. I’ve done my research and this is what worked amazingly well for us. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Last, but certainly not least: cell phone chargers. I don’t know where these things go, but we never have enough. Actually, I take that back. I do know where they go. But the point is that they are never where they are supposed to be! I’m going to stock up during Prime Days and hope that they’re on sale.
