September 1st kicks off oyster season in South Carolina. As the saying goes, only eat oysters in months with an “R.” Therefore, September, October, November, December, January, February, March and April are the safe oyster eating months. Steer clear of them in the warm summer months when bacteria levels in the water tend to be higher.

But enough about that! I personally don’t even like oysters, but I love their shells. The coastal vibe is my jam. My house is littered with decorative oyster shells. Imagine my delight to discover that my favorite oyster artist, Hops and Bun, offers mini oyster blessing beads. I ordered a bunch and added them to my shop in honor of oyster season.

Mini Oyster Blessing Beads

The blessing beads are beautiful on display on top of a stack of books or hanging from a drawer pull or lamp, but they also make adorable Christmas ornaments and wine bottle decor. The festive red and green are the answer to all of your holiday party hostess gifts needs. The light pink is stunning year round. Look no further for the perfect surcee.
