It’s a Winter Wonderland!

I cannot even believe it!  It snowed!!!!!  The local meteorologists had been predicting a little flurry activity for Friday, but I truly didn’t think it would stick.  Or be this much!  Such a fun surprise.  The kids even got out of school a little early.  We typically get a little snow each year, but NEVER in December.  I am loving it!  The Christmas music sounds better, the hot chocolate is tastier, the tree lights look prettier…..but this devil’s dandruff can disappear after December 25th.  I like 80 and sunny, thank you very much.

Tuesday night was Advent by Candlelight at my church.  Per usual, my bestie Casey and I teamed up and each hosted a table.  I love this event so much!  It’s organized by the women’s ministry at our church and it’s such a wonderful way to enjoy fellowship, relax, and remember the reason for the season.  I did a horrible job taking pictures!  I snapped these during setup.  WAAAHHHH!!!!!!  35 tables were filled this year and the sanctuary was stunning with all of the candles lighted.  And the desserts were spectacular.

I *think* I am done monogramming for the year.  This holiday season has been amazing for my little business, but I’ve got to wrap things up and get my Christmas ready because we leave town next week and don’t get home until late on December 23rd.  EEEEK!!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!  We’ve got lots of holiday parties and events this weekend…..and our fun weather surprise.
