Happy Thursday! I’ve spent the past few days curating my own Christmas wish list and trying to think of a few things for my impossible-to-shop-for husband. I’ll start with Ben. He’s a guy’s guy through and through. He’s also not into anything super trendy; classic and masculine is the name of his game. Hubs doesn’t read my blog, so I feel confident sharing this with the world wide web without ruining any surprises for him.
Hubby’s wardrobe could use a bit of a refresh, particularly in the dressy department. I scoured Smith and James’s Instagram for inspiration and immediately landed on these Torino leathers belts and Rioman loafers. The textures and colors are stunning! Now if I can manage to purchase the correct sizes, I’ll be all set and so will Ben. I’ll likely grab a shirt or two while I’m there, but I don’t trust myself to buy pants. I am not a great resource for men’s style, but I regularly check in with Red Clay Soul to get ideas. This isn’t a terribly exciting gift, but Santa will put this (along with a lump of coal) in Ben’s stocking. I’ve mentioned Elta MD on here before because I think the products are wonderful. I use the tinted version of this sunscreen almost every day. I prefer it to the more expensive tinted moisturizers I own! Ben NEEDS to wear sunscreen with all of the golf he plays, but he hates the way it feels and turns his stubble white. Elta MD to the rescue! Personally, I think anyone would like this, but it’s especially effective for sunscreen reluctant hard headed men.

Back to more fun items…we had friends stay with us for a few days last summer and they brought their smash burger tools with them. We enjoyed a delicious dinner thanks to a contraption like this and I’ve been meaning to buy one ever since. Smash burgers are a fun way to mix up burger night.

Another item that could use a bit of an upgrade is Ben’s wallet. I know his current one is nicely broken in and formed to his rump, but the stitching is coming undone. Red Clay Soul is a fan of Colonel Littleton leather goods, so I did some research and decided on this particular billfold for Ben:

Last December on a flight to Steamboat I spotted a beautiful quilted bag on the shoulder of a fellow passenger. I immediately googled the logo and discovered Oliver Thomas. Well, here we are almost an entire year later and I still want one of these bags. The colors are styles are all fabulous, but I think I’ve landed on the Kitchen Sink Tote in gunmetal. But Santa, I’ll happily take any of them.

Brackish is known for their super cool feather bow ties, which I love. Ben has one and he always receives compliments every time he wears it. Several years ago, Brackish introduced a women’s jewelry line and the pieces are beautiful. The selection gets better and better every year and this year is off the charts. I think I’ve decided to ask Santa for a pair of earrings, but a cuff or necklace would also suit me just fine.

My Alexa is the OG. She’s seen better days and I would be thrilled if a new one were under the tree for me Christmas morning. I’m leaning toward this model. The clock feature is a nice addition. Alexa typically hangs out in my bathroom so I can listen to tunes while showering and getting ready. Maybe a clock will help me be more punctual?

This is an extremely indulgent item, but that’s the best kind of gift, right? I am always cold and love nothing better than a towel hot of the dryer. However, that NEVER happens. Well, this little device would enable me to use a warm towel every time I shower! I like the small size and hidden outlet on this particular dryer, but it’s available in a larger size as well in case your entire family wants in on the action.

As you all know by now, I love to read. One of my favorite authors is Shari Lapena. I’ve read most of her books, but not all. This would make a fabulous present for a reader. We’re taking our annual Steamboat ski trip over the holidays and I can’t wait to curl up in front of the fire with this.

A good stocking stuffer for me and every parent I know is a phone charger. I swear, they grow legs and walk away in my house. I hope Santa leaves me a few of these since I’m currently down to one charger.
