Halloween was one of my favorite nights of the year as a child, second only to Christmas Eve. I’m thrilled to say that I still love it as an adult and my kids have inherited my love for all things fall and spooky. Per usual, my house was the big meeting spot and after party. This makes for a late night (on a school night–yikes!), but it is worth it. My neighbor and I joined forces to make fun travel tumblers for the mommies.
The crew gets bigger each year. My neighborhood is the trick or treat hotspot, so a bunch of our friends who live in nearby neighborhoods congregate at my house for pictures (and drinks, let’s be real) before we start going door to door. Look at this fabulous group of kiddos!
I simply adore our neighborhood. So many sweet families. The candy haul was impressive.
Emery was in heaven having little LB to assist Tuesday night. Emery has loved LB since the moment she was born, and for good reason. She is simply adorable, with the funniest personality to match. Em stayed with LB and even sacrificed hitting up some houses to help her with stairs. So cute!
After helping LB until she was worn out, Emery wanted to keep going to make up for lost time. Thankfully, her lifelong friend H was more than happy to keep her company. D and I were the last moms to return home, but we had a blast. Halloween gets easier each year. This was the best year yet. We lucked out (again) with great weather.
We survived!
Happy November!
