We love Halloween at Chez EmeryBodie and enjoy inserting bits of festive decor around the house.  I used to be “that house” with the giant inflatables, but Gipper attacked and killed them all last year.  So, we’re forced to be more subdued this year with our exterior decorations.  Just a creepy guy clawing his way out of his grave and some pumpkins.  I love “Cinderella” and white pumpkins.

I try to keep things “elegant spooky” inside.  My favorite Halloween household accessories are my jack-o-lantern mini lampshades from Ballard Designs and my Courtly Check gourd from MacKenzie-Childs.

Excuse the less than stellar photos.  The weather is quite dreary and dark.

A few more gourds and skulls tucked here and there, plus a big bowl of candy finish things off.

And this candle by Nest is burning from September through November.

My favorite part of any holiday is setting a fun table.  These goblets were picked up at Dollar Tree a few weeks ago!  The pumpkin soup bowls are from Crate and Barrel last year.
