I scheduled a long overdue girls trip this week, and my in-laws were kind enough to fly down and help watch the kiddos. Even though they only used one guest room, I went ahead and fluffed both rooms a bit because it makes me so happy to see these rooms, which seldom get used, in all of their glory every now and again. But before the fluffing could happen, I had to stress over leaving my children for a few days and write down all.the.things.

Back to fluffing…..the “pink and orange room” (as I call it) got a little carnation and mum arrangement. This lasts forever! I need to put flowers in here more often. This picture was taken at night and I think the room looks so cozy.

The guest bath got some cute matches and I moved one of my favorite candles in there. This candle usually sits on my desk.

The other guest room (the one my in laws actually used) got some giant hydrangeas.

Some daylight shots of the “pink and orange room.” I just love it so much!

Gipper likes the room, too.

Totally unrelated to this post, but I am still loving my tile bracelets. They certainly added a dose of cheer to this rainy car line.

Happy Wednesday!
