Happy Good Friday! I am SO ready for a break next week. Just a few more items and EmeryBodie will be all caught up. The week before spring break is always a busy time, but this year has particularly been a doozie. No complaints, though! I’m excited to be busier. Not surprisingly, a bunch of spring break requests are Disney related. These little autograph books are the perfect size for carrying around the parks or ship. I chose Lilly’s Jellies Be Jammin for Disney Cruisers and First Impression for landlubbers.

Glitter. Pink. Turquoise. Monogram. Castle. ‘Nuff said.

More spring break ncessities…..organizational bags and Corkcicles!

These Corkcicles are from Swoozies and the design is called “Aurora.” I love it. Looks like Sedona to me.

Another spring break necessity? Whale appliques. This little 18 month dress is so sweet. Oh, how I miss dressing Emery in little baby girl clothes.

Tuesday evening was Buena Vista’s final spirit night for the school year at Chick Fil A. CFA is so generous to our school and I thoroughly enjoy working with them to plan these quarterly events. This past spirit night showcased student musicians. A friend provided the keyboard and quite a few students signed up to play. The keyboard was definitely the most popular instrument, but two little second grade boys brought electric guitars and stole the show. Emery entertained the crowd with her rendition of “Yankee Doodle.”

Spring colors are my favorite palette and this snowball bush in my backyard is giving me all the feels. Some years are better than others and this year is definitely our best yet. This baby is really putting on a show! I snapped this picture this morning because this is the best phase….the blooms are still green but are getting big and fluffy.

Speaking of my love for color, Facebook reminded me that it’s been a year since I painted my front stairs ombre shades of blue. No regrets. I still love it.

That’s it for now! Have a wonderful weekend!
