Popping in with a quick post this afternoon to share two things that may come in handy over the weekend….first up:  my favorite cup!

I discovered these Bubba Envy cups last summer and they quickly became my go-to for daily use.  I purchased the silver with a pink lid/straw combo and loved it so much that a few days later I went back to the store and grabbed the Island Teal color as well.  Naturally, I had to monogram them ASAP.  And add a shark sticker.  Don’t get me wrong, I love my Yeti, Corkcicle, S’well and Hydroflask vessels, but these Bubba beauties are under $10.00 and available at Wal Mart.  Can’t beat that with a stick!  I had to get a few items at Wally yesterday so I checked to make sure they’re still available.  Lots in stock!  Do yourself a favor and get one (or three).  They keep drinks cold for hours, fit perfectly in my cupholders, and are pretty.  And cheap.  These make great gifts.  I’m not sure why, but I drink so much more out of a straw.  My water intake is definitely better when I carry one of these around with me.

If you’re looking for a good read this weekend, I highly recommend The Red Tent by Anita Diamant.  I know it came out ages ago, but I had not read it yet.  My book club selected this novel for January and only two of my friends had already read it.  Not gonna lie, I wasn’t too excited about it.  But then I started reading and was hooked.  It’s fascinating!  Although fictional, some of characters are from the Bible.  It’s crazy good.

I’m off to tennis practice!  So excited for the weekend.  And Brownie Brittle.  Poor Gipper doesn’t understand why he can’t have any.
