It’s been a few years since I’ve forced my family to endure a photo shoot. My sister is a photographer and was willing to drive from Atlanta to Greenville to make these pictures happen….IN OUR OWN NEIGHBORHOOD. The amount of grief from the males in my family is ridiculous. Alas, they survived and I’m pleased as punch with the photos.

We drove to the clubhouse parking lot and walked to a bridge on the golf course around sunset to capture some golden hour photos. The weather was gorgeous and I love the little peek of fall foliage in our family photo.

The fellas were roasting in their sweaters, but I really needed this color combo.

My sister was kind enough to snap a few “personality shots” of Emery and Bodie. Since we were already on the golf course, Bodie opted for a golf theme. Emery, to the surprise of no one, chose to go back to the house and be photographed with Knute. I’m not mad about it.

If you’re in the Atlanta area (East Cobb is her stomping grounds) and need family pictures or senior photos, send her message. Alison is on Instagram as @hkimagesphotography and her web site is https://hkimages.zenfolio.com/

Thanks, Alison! Feels so good to have checked Christmas cards off my to-do list!
