Fall Soccer: That’s a Wrap!

Emery has played CESA Rec for the past few years with almost the same group of girls and it’s been a great experience that she will definitely continue. The girls bonded more than ever this year and it showed on and off the field. This past weekend was the Fall Festival tournament. Cesa Red came up short in the championship game (in overtime, no less…it was a nailbiter), but the girls played better than I’ve ever seen. There may have been a few tears during the medal ceremony, but the should all hold their head high. Great season, girls! I’m already excited for spring.

Emery’s teammates have fabulously fun families and I was happy to host everyone at our house for a celebratory dinner Sunday evening. I ordered a bunch of Zaxby’s. The other parents brought drinks and desserts and a good time was had by all. So much so, in fact, that I failed to take pictures of the actual party other than this one of the girls with their cookie cake.

I snapped a few pictures of the aftermath. These girls worked up an appetite playing soccer all weekend. All of the food was GONE. I used the same Amazon high top tables I purchased for Emery’s homecoming dinner, but swapped out the blue table linens for white (also from Amazon). If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? I used my silver mint julep cups to hold red and white flower arrangements (team colors). I’ll link the tables and linens below. I am so happy with that purchase.

My Tuesday is off to a great start…finally made it back to my spin class! That’s such a fabulous way to kick off the day.
