Happy Saturday!  I think this has been one of the busiest weeks of my life.  All good stuff, just lots of it.  It’s actually kind of mundane activities, but one after another.  I like being busy, but there’s got to be a happy medium!  I was also a little behind the eight ball due to spring break last week.  I was super behind on laundry and grocery shopping/meal planning, plus the kids were totally out of their routine, and my house is still upside down from the mudroom renovation.  I’m determined to get caught up and get my act together this week.

I completed quite a few orders this week.  Spring is always a busy time for EmeryBodie LLC.  I added numbers to a baseball team’s hats, which is a great idea.  Have you ever looked inside a Little League dugout?  STUFF IS EVERYWHERE!  Bodie has his number on his hat, plus Mabel’s Labels on his gloves, bats, helmets, water bottle, etc.  His backpack is monogrammed, of course.

This personalized clipboard was an Etsy order for a teacher gift.  I love this color combo.

These requests are my favorite:  a friend dropped off two pair of seersucker shorts and asked me to applique a shirt that matches both and includes a monogram.  So much fun coming up with this.  The design is from www.appliquecafe.com.  I’m thrilled with the end result.

Beach towels are starting to appear on my doorstep.  Brooklyn’s towel is PenPal font and Brayden’s is Pharmacy.  My two new faves from Monogram Wizard Plus.

My kids’ school is hosting a bingo night next week, which is always a blast.  One of the items on the donations request list was a “summer fun bucket.”  I figured EmeryBodie LLC could come up with something cute for this, so I offered to donate one.  I had a grand time shopping for this and filling the little tub with all sorts of sunny goodies.

The tub included an SPF bag with some sunscreen, a goggle bag with two pair of goggles, two frisbees, two cans of spray sidewalk chalk, two jump ropes, two frisbees, a Phlat ball, a package of dive sticks and two giant inner tubes.  I hope the winner of this has a wonderful summer with all of these toys.  And of course I had to embellish the tub with a vinyl shark.  Oh, a box of sidewalk chalk is also included, but it wouldn’t fit.  I told you I had fun shopping.  Oops.

Here’s a snapshot of what I came home to one day this week:  Gipper guarding all of the packages that were delivered while I was out.  A new sink and faucet for our mudroom, plus a boat load of blanks for EmeryBodie LLC.  Most of these boxes have baby towels and blankets in them.  It’s baby season!

The kids both had dentist appointments this week.  Yay for no cavities!  Bodie is such a dirty little boy.  I’m embarrassed that this is how he looked to get his teeth cleaned, but I literally had to drag him away from his friends in the backyard to go to the appointment.

I did find some time to sneak away with friends one gorgeous morning for a bike ride on the Swamp Rabbit Trail followed by lunch at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe.  That place has the most amazing local food.

We ended the week with Emery doing her favorite thing:  riding Choo.  She sure loves this horse.  I have to admit, he’s pretty spectacular.
