Whelp, here I go again sneaking in at the eleventh hour with my Monogram Monday post. Oy. I have been extra busy lately, which I love, but throwing in an unexpected day off from school has made me feel like I’m never going to catch up. This week brought lots of fun orders, but first I want to share these water bottles I did for Emery’s vollyeball team. I purchased the Ozark bottles AND the volleyball ribbon at Wally. I love the color of the bottles, although they come in red and pink as well. But this chartreuse really grabbed my attention. I cut the girls’ names with Oracle 651 vinyl using the “positively bold” font on my Cameo. I love the Oracle 651 vinyl for drink vessels as it holds up really well in the dishwasher.
This backpack is a hand me down that was given new life with a little personalization. Baby brother Eli will love his “new” bag.
More doggie bandanas went out this week. Cruz is a repeat customer and I just love when his mama sends me pictures of him sporting his FunDog bandanas. How handsome is he?
Speaking of adorable doggies, my neighbor happens to be the phenomenal art teacher at my kids’ school. During the hurricane day last week, Mrs. Jackson helped my kids paint portraits of Gipper! How special are these?! She is brilliant and couldn’t be sweeter. Needless to say, Emery and Bodie adore her.
Here are snaps of some of the baby items EmeryBodie LLC cranked out this week. Pardon the poor quality of some of these photos. Some of these were taken in my monogramming cave late at night and others were taken on seriously cloudy days.
I love simple pink and white for baby girls. And you can’t beat MWP’s “master circle” font with a stick. The font on the bag is MWP “penpal.”
My children are still attached to their favorite loveys and those things have been everywhere. Adding a name is always a good idea. Even better? Adding who it’s from on the opposite side. The name is in MWP “fun house” and the signature is MWP “exact script.”
More “master circle” awesomeness.
MWP “cotillion” font on a baby boy’s blanket
And even more “master circle” pieces for a baby girl. These little outfits are from Target.
My biggest order of the week was these zip up pullovers for some baseball moms. I’ll be the first to admit that these are the toughest items to monogram. I always second guess the placement guidelines I find on Pinterest and embroidery web sites. They just seem too broad for most tops and I almost always end up tweaking my measurements after I’ve stitched a few. I did these as a rush order favor and am pleased with the end result, but I’m in no rush to do something like this again soon.
I’m officially ending my Monday and am about to crawl into bed with my latest book club selection….a collection of stories about female serial killers. It’s good! I’m taking notes so I can keep all of these women straight when it comes time to discuss at our meeting next week. I think I’m making hubby nervous!
